My Zalora Wishlist
Being an adult (or so I like to call myself) is hard especially when dealing with the perils of dressing yourself for the public eye. I'd like to think I don't care what anyone thinks of my non-existent style when it comes to ~fashion~, but yes, I do care.
One Off The Bucket List!
Everyday I ask myself,
If I were to die today, would I be happy with what I've achieved? Not a lot of people would say yes. Given the very complicated circumstance that is reality, everyone's probably winging "it" to survive. Dreams and life goals remain on the to-do list until forgotten. The urge to be something great will always be there. Like what I've mentioned before in one of my blog posts, we all just want to be relevant in some weird, magical way.
Boracay is Calling!
I am so bummed that I am not at Boracay this weekend. Almost all my friends are heading there for a fun-filled weekend while I'm stuck here in Makati. If I had the money, I would definitely buy a non-seat sale ticket and just drink and party until Labor Day!
Broke Girl Challenge Week 2
So...I went on a South Beach-ish diet last week and it affected my budget like crazy. First, I can't eat carbs and fruits for 2 weeks so I had to buy salads and meat to keep me full. I managed to spend only 100-140 pesos on food per day thanks to my mom's home-cooked meals and canned goods.
Lugang Cafe: Xiao Long Bao
Disclaimer: I am not a foodie. I am just a regular, overeating person who eats yummy food when bored. I'll try my best to create a decent review of one of my favorite restaurants ever because I SUPER LOVE THEM.
Broke Girl Challenge Week 1
Hi everyone! I am so happy with the replies regarding my previous post. I'm currently on my first week with the Broke Girl Challenge and I'm so happy because I only spent 472 pesos on food and commute since the first working day of this week. I've been bringing lunch everyday to work and I've only allowed myself to buy a snack yesterday (KFC Twister LOL).
The Broke Girl Challenge
I'm sort of broke. I just quit my job and I'm going back to my former job due to personal reasons. My salary was put on hold and now I have to use my savings to pay for bills. I hate this because I don't want to touch my savings but if I don't pay for bills, I will be in trouble.
Let's Pretend We're in a Movie Montage
Walking to the train, riding the train, and walking on the streets of Makati with my iPod on has always given me the feeling that I am the star of my life's never-ending montage. It's comforting to feel that all my good angles are caught by the non-existent cameraman while my favorite band is playing my favorite morning power song. It's a priceless sort of victory that always managed to get me out of bed, and off to work in the best possible outfit.
The Boracay Getaway
Back from Boracay! I'm still not completely awake from my post-trip slumber, but a girl's gotta work so work I shall be doing. If only I could stay at Boracay permanently and just do henna tattoos for a living. Oh, the dream.
The Year in Photographs
Here's a collection of my favorite photos from 2011 to early 2012. I have awesome friends and one hell of a boyfriend.
