On Quitting Cigarettes & Being Thankful

September has been very good to me. I can't complain at how wonderful things have gotten after just 2 months of working as a Community Manager for a Digital Agency in Makati. My only complain is the commute from Anonas to Makati which consumes almost 4 hours of my life everyday. Aside from that, work is amazingly fun and I am learning a lot. Also, I got regularized last Friday. Yey! :)

Pardon my face.
More things I am thankful for are:

iPhone 4! Finally!

New laptop! Sony Vaio E series.
I am also very thankful for getting the drive to finally go on a strict diet and quit smoking. I am currently on my 9th day of being nicotine-free and it is killing me. But, I tell myself: Tin, do you really want Lung Cancer?

Let's see how I'll look after one month!
I have sacrificed my social life to save money and to avoid beer/eating out after beer/smoking. I told myself I'll only go out with friends if there's an occasion or if I have extra cash.

I am also very thankful for my awesome high school friends who I get to see more often now.

I am also very thankful for my mom. She may not be the ideal mother, but I love her more than anything. She's off to the US (again) this Thursday. I hope she finds herself and solve her midlife crisis once and for all. I am also happy because mom really likes Larry for me. Teehee. <3

And finally, I am very, very thankful for my boyfriend.

In this picture: HOTSTUFF LOL
I don't want to get all cheesy and shit so I'll just say that I'm very lucky because my boyfriend is a very selfless, amazing person with a big heart.

What are you thankful for? :)

  5. I started smoking nung 3rd year college ako and stopped weeks after my graduation! Wala naman akong withdrawals chuchu pero nung May, nagkasakit ako. As in lahat ng mga possible sickness lumabas (flu, tonsillitis, high fever). Natakot na ako. Kaya ayun. Cheers for a healthier lifestyle! :)
